Our History
In 1981-1982, a different independent chapter of the "Prison Motorcycle Brotherhood" emerged in the Minnesota
Correctional Facilities. Totally unaware of their brothers in Florida. The PMB-Minnesota used a different patch design than
the chapters in Flordia. PMB within Minnesota Correctional Facilites put forth a lot of time, effort, and dedication to insure
P.M.B.'s foundations were their to build upon. Due to the personal differences of PMB patched brothers in the early 1980's
who lead by the example of there actions, PMB was able to survive and expand over 25 years time. In the mid 1980's PMB-MN
filed with the government, to be an officially recognized club. However they lost their legal status in 1990 when a major
drug bust went down at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Stillwater Minnesota and several P.M.B. Brothers were found
guilty in that raid. Many in the Minnesota Department of Corrections administration thought that after the bust that it would
be the end of PMB. They couldn't have been further from the truth. If anything it made PMB-MN brothers much more deteremined,
what most figured would've broken the PMB apart, it had a uniting effect and was a learning experience. From 1990 PMB really
began to spread through out the state of Minnesota. Soon PMB was not only firmly established within every institution in the
state, but PMB began to run things and dominate the MCF in its own way. The Prison Motorcycle Brotherhood in Minnesota has
some thing very few prison systems in America can claim to have: True Brotherhood. PMB is so firmly established and numbers
so high per prison, that it is almost unheard of in any states. We can learn a great deal from our brothers up their on how
to conduct the Brotherhoods daily business.
The Prison Motorcycle Brotherhood is expanding its horizons. Today we proudly boast that our Mother Chapter within MCF-Minnesota
are firmly established in every state prison in Minnesota, as well as the fact our Brothers Run Shit in the Minnesota Correctional
Facilities.
